Kamen Rider W (Double) series rewatch:

Well, yah I guess I need to start rewatching all Kamen rider series. I wasn't a big fan of W first time watching now I can tell I appreciate it more and love it even more after a rewatch. I think it has so many good things that make fans love it so much. Great, great, likable character. You can't help but fall in love with the characters, Shotaro, Philip, Akiko (thou she's annoying), Terui Ryu and other non-main character like Jin San the cop, the informant, and Santa chan. Hell man even the city has it's own vibes. No other Kamen rider has this unique setting and style. It's like Gotham but a lighter version of it. You have the main character as a detective, then those criminals who use Gaia memory illegally. Basically, the same concept but this one is a lighter series.

The story is set in the fictional city called Fuuto, a place powered by wind energy, the story follows two detectives hard-boiled Hidari Shotaro and the intelligent, library owner Philip (or should i say mind library?). Together, they transform into Kamen Rider W and fight monsters known as Dopantshumans who misuse USB-like devices called Gaia Memories to gain powers.

They work at the Narumi Detective Agency (owned by Akiko chan), Shotaro and Philip investigate cases involving Dopants, uncovering larger mysteries involving the Sonozaki family, who run the Gaia Memory through their organization called Museum. As the story goes on, they confront truths about Philip’s past, the origin of Gaia Memories, and the horrifying potential of their misuse. With each case, Shotaro and Philip grow not just as detectives but as heroes fighting to protect Futo from the shadows that threaten it.

I'm gonna say episode 1-4 is great, but it somehow loses the vibe (maybe because of repetition of the conflict formula) in the episode 5-10 then it gains its vibes in 11 till the end. The episodes after accel gain his trial form is also boring but hey at least it's about to end and it still has something to show to us. I think episode 40 gains back my attention. Yah that's how I feel while watching. Emotional ending, great final form episode debut. Maybe I'm going to say the best when it comes to final form debut compare to other kamen rider series I've seen. It's debut is at the same tier with Build Genius from, Fourze Cosmic form, Drive type Tridoron (funny how i just remember it has the same writer). Honestly, i don't remember Kamen rider final form episode being executed this well.

No doubt. So emotional, you can't help but cry man during the ending. Which beg me the questions, will I ever see the anime (Fuuto Pi) the same after knowing the perfect ending of the series. Cause the anime kind of undoes the series ending. Anyway, I'm going to look for an explanation later. The music is also unforgettable, all the insert song, nobody's perfect is a perfect song hahahahaha. And I still miss one thing maybe. About Wakana identity as a Dopant. They didn't know that right? Ah, whatever. I'm gonna say it was a great experience watching this again. Gotta see how cool Shotaro is man.... (i like it when everything is shown through shotaro point of view when writing his detective journal)

Oh, and this series is a bit like den o where you have a very alike episodic series. Which honestly, I'm not a big fan of. It's different when it comes to animated but I'm a fan of Continous series like ryuki, blade, geats, build and many others. 2-episode one case. It's a bit like that.

Source: https://faintlyfamiliar.com/2018/10/15/movie-monday-rope-1948/  Well, i can call it cat and mouse movie but only in a single room. What a surprise? An old movie that keep me hooked. Rope is a story about a couple of friends who're trying to bring sensation (at least that is how describe it) by killing their friend and making a party after it. But they make a mistake when they invited Rupert, a man who's easily get suspicious about all.  Here's the thing, i don't remember but i think it was happening while i watch this movie... This movie was filmed in one take didn't it? I didn't realize until half of the movie. This movie doesn't tell but it shows from the dialogue, character interaction, character expression, the beautiful camera shot (when Ruppert is trying to read what he would have done to David if he was the murderer). The movie is more intense as it progresses towards the end. All the acting was superb. God what a movie. Love it. This is my se...

image source: https://www.cinemaclock.com/movies/body-double-1984  I haven't felt the tension like this for quite a while. The story follows a claustrophobic actor, Jake who got a bad luck with his acting world and his relationship. And someone offers Jake a strange gig: house-sitting and watering his plants. Oh, and watching the neighbor through a telescope. He takes the job and... The guy also introduces peeping into a girl while Jake is still at his home. But Jake finds out something is wrong when he notices a suspicious man tailing the girl he’s been watching, turning voyeurism into a possibly bigger mystery.  I don't want to spoil too much. Cause i think the less you know, the better viewing experience you will get. Brian de Palma delivers a masterclass in suspense. The long takes, the extended scenes of following, the long peeping and watching. It makes you feel exactly what Jake feels: trapped, anxious, uncertain. It’s mesmerizing. Even if the long take takes so lo...

Today's movie: Paul source: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/39513-paul/images/posters  Jesus Christ, it was a ride. Just like the alien said. And it was. It tells a story about two guys who love comic con and they both embark on a journey when they accidentally meet an alien. So, yah that's the basic premise. Starring Simon Pegg, nick frost(old duo from Edgar wright), Kristen wiig, Seth Rogen, bill Hader, and more. This 100 minute movie will accompany you to ride along with them. It's not a new alien movie. What actually sold this movie for me is the chemistry between all the characters. I mean when will you see an alien teach a Christian girl to curse. I know It has Joe Rogan, so what else you should expect beside raunchy comedy? If I can criticize it, the first half is less tight. It all felt too rushed. How come a guy is not really surprised with alien. Of course he's surprised but there's just something missing on the first thing when they met
